Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field - Experience in public and private sector projects
- Strong knowledge of water resources engineering principles and practices in the state of Maryland
- Experience in MDE SWM Manual Chapter 3 and 5, stream and river restoration projects
- Experience in aaplications - Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite, USACE software - HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HEC 2; USDA software - TR-55, TR-20; ESRI - ArcGIS 1 and Extensions; PondPak, HydroCAD, HY-8, Abscour
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoDesk Civil 3D / AutoCAD, and or MicroStation software - stream restoration projects
- Ability to collect and analyze data using various tools and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a crew of field technicians - Assign tasks and provide guidance to crew members - Ensure that work is completed according to project specifications and timelines - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Bengal Engineers LLC is seeking a full-time or part-time Survey Instrument Man with 0 to 10 years of experience for our group in Laurel, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the survey crew chief in conducting land surveys and collecting data - Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, levels, and GPS equipment - Use hand tools to clear brush and vegetation from survey lines - Measure distances, angles, and elevations using various surveying techniques - Assist in the preparation of survey reports and drawings - Perform calculations and data analysis using algebra, geometry, and other mathematical concepts - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Desired Experience:
