BENGAL offers comprehensive civil engineering services in environmental and water resources engineering, site engineering, and utility engineering for both public and private clients. Our staff includes experienced professional engineers and technicians who have honed their technical expertise through their experience working for large engineering and construction firms in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Subra Das, P.E. (Civil and Environmental Engineering)
Job title or function
Subra is the founder and president of Bengal Engineers, LLC, and is dedicated to providing innovative, efficient, and client-focused engineering solutions. He has extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering. He has over 20 years of experience in project management, client relations, and contract administration. He is a registered professional civil engineer in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Before founding Bengal Engineers, Subra held senior leadership positions within Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 500 design firms in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Vlad Antonov, PLS (Land Surveying)
Vlad is a Professional Land Surveyor with over 15 years of experience performing and managing a broad range of surveying projects in Maryland and over 40 years overall. He has demonstrated success in completing projects on schedule and under budget. He is highly accomplished in simultaneously managing multiple projects, including boundary, ALTA/ACSM, topographic, horizontal and vertical control, land development, zoning, and construction surveys, while utilizing the latest technology.
Mohsin Zaidi, P.E. (Traffic Engineering)
Mohsin is an experienced traffic engineer who has completed hundreds of transportation projects involving design, bid, and build. His experience involves the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic, Roadway directional Signage Design, Signal Design Review and Improvement, Pavement Reconfiguration and Marking, Roadway Safety Audits (RSA), Guardrail inspection and design, stop sign control design studies, Roadway Signage design, Roundabout Designs, Traffic Impact Studies, Turn Lane requirement Studies, Unprotected crosswalk studies, Crash fatality analysis and reports. He works collaboratively, with attention to detail and optimum time management, producing projects on time and within budget.
Niraj Kumar P.E. (Structural Engineering)
Niraj has over 19 years of experience in the design, construction, and inspection of structures. He specializes in concrete inspections, including post-tension concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood construction. Additionally, he reviews shop drawings related to structural construction, specifically for concrete and steel fabrications. He also performs structural analysis and design for small buildings, foundations, and slabs on grade, ensuring proper documentation for submission to clients and county government for review and approval.
